QUARANTINE SONGS

Quarantine Life.

At the beginning of the Quarantine, I panicked. I lost ALL of my gigs that supply a HUGE income for me and my job at the church I was working at, went from being in-person to online. I had to MAJORLY pivot my life and create new opportunities to make income. I did some really high-quality Live Streams with my Husband Brett's help, I did an online class for musicians releasing music for the 1st time and started to find my footing.

I decided it would be a great time to focus on songwriting, production and recording because what else is there to do?!

While I was writing, my heart was majorly grieving and feeling it for the folks on the front line. Music is my way to process my inner world and I wrote 3 songs in 2 weeks and I felt the urgency to release them into the world because I feel like it's what the world needs right now.

Yes, I've released 12 songs in 12 months and that was a MAJOR undertaking, but 3 songs in a few weeks?! It's laughable, I know. The urgency propelled me forward and I figured out how to record 3 songs in 2 weeks on a tight budget and make them sound amazing and how to make it a cohesive idea and project. SO the QUARANTINE SONGS project was born.

I just released the 1st of 3 songs, Capes and Masks, a song from the perspective of Healthcare Heroes. I made a Tribute Video to honor them and released it today! It's already encouraging folks, and that's all I wanted for this!!! It's amazing the power music has to connect to people emotionally and I'm so honored to get to share these songs with them. I wish I could hug each one of them and tell them how much they mean to the world right now.

Big thank you to PAUL KIMSAL for helping me with production and mixing and mastering on this song and to Cellist BECCA BRADLEY for adding the most moving Cello I've ever heard!! What a labor of love on a quick timeline!

I got over 274 photos of Healthcare Heroes from around the Country and my buddy Chris Hardwick helped me edit it all together.

I'll be releasing 2 more songs in the next few weeks one is called I'll Stay With You and the other is called Human Kindess. Be sure to stay connected with me on Social Media to be alerted when my new music comes out! You don't want to miss them!! :)

My husband Brett created the Single Cover Artwork for all of the songs I'll be releasing!

My friend Chyna created the artwork of the World pictured Above!! It will be the cover of my Quarantine Songs project!

Another fun thing I did in Quarantine was have a LIVE STREAM PARTY to celebrate the Completion of my 12 songs in 12 months Project! I got my kids involved and we had a blast! :) Here's some cute photos from it! You can watch the replay on my FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/HeatherEvansMusic/videos/273237227040456/
